My personal favorite meat option on burritos and tacos is Carnitas. Which makes them the standard way requires utilizing a “cazo”, burner, and deep frying the pork in lard for hrs at finish. Its quite laborious and fat in abundance. Within this video I demonstrate a method to make “carnitas” in your own home using my Weber kettle grill. It takes approximately 5hrs for 7lbs of pork shoulder. It makes sense similar otherwise much better than what you’ll get at some Mexican restaurants (where sometimes the pork is crispy, dry, and hard inside and outdoors). Check it out by doing this, you won’t be disappointed.

*TIP – to obtain a longer prepare time from your charcoal, put some unlit coals within the grill, then put the hot coals regarding this. Its such as the Jim Minion method.
